Terms of Service

ProperPrompt is provided by Jadthena Limited t/a Clearpath Consulting, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

• ProperPrompt rewrites the prompt text you supply into a structured, platform-tailored prompt for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok, in the language you choose.
• The free tier allows a limited number of rewrites per day, counted against your IP address, network block and browser. Paid tiers are governed by the pricing shown at purchase.
• We aim for high availability. The service is provided "as is", without a warranty of uptime or of fitness for a particular purpose.
• We may add, change or retire features. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we will tell paying customers by email before it takes effect.

Your content

• You keep all rights to the prompts you submit and the rewrites you receive. We claim no ownership of either.
• You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit unlawful content, or other people's personal or confidential information without the right to do so.
• Rewrites are generated by an AI model and may contain mistakes. Review outputs before relying on them, especially for legal, medical or financial use.

Fair use

• Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, scrape the service, resell access, or use it to attack or overload our infrastructure.
• We may suspend access that abuses the service.

Payments and refunds

Payments are handled by Stripe and we never see your card details. Statutory UK consumer rights apply. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and run to the end of the paid period. Lifetime licences apply to ProperPrompt as a product, for its commercial lifetime; if we ever retire the product entirely, lifetime holders get at least 90 days' notice and an export of their prompt history.

The browser extension

The extension is covered by these same terms and by the privacy policy. It sends prompt text to the service only when you click the polish button.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
